Hello! My name is Katelyn. I am thrilled to introduce myself as the founder and planner of Yours Truly Planning.
Growing up I enjoyed planning parties, even if they were imaginary. Throughout my life, I witnessed my mom planning and hosting many parties. During college, I was part of many groups where I planned and threw parties, on campus, for students. As well as plan a few parties here and there for friends.

I am a former classroom teacher. During my years in the classroom, I coordinated classroom parties for my students to have a blast. During the process of planning my own wedding, I would stay up for hours researching and having fun in general doing so. Once my wedding came and went, I found myself sad and missing the planning process. When my cousin got engaged, I assisted in helping plan her wedding and bridal shower.

During the planning process, I find joy in brainstorming ideas and putting an action plan to them. On the big day, I love stepping back and seeing the work I completed. The planning my clients and I envisioned coming to life. And the cherry on top... seeing couples' and guests' faces light up when walking into the room!

Every wedding is unique. I am here to take the ease off your big day so you can enjoy it, make memories, and say your vows!
OTHER THINGS
My husband, Brittan, and I are parents to our sweet baby boy, Christopher. I am a former classroom teacher. I love to do anything crafty and creative. During my downtime, I enjoy listening to music, reading, playing a game, or going on walks. A few of my favorite things are cats, tea, coffee, chocolate, fruit, gaming and cozy sweaters.
